Sustainable Seattle's Leadership Lab

Learn some leadership skills to further the sustainability movement at our 1st Leadership Lab! Sustainable Seattle is excited to announce the launch of the LEADERSHIP LAB, a new program developed for, well, you...We would like to invite you to be part of a three-part series designed to support and connect diverse leaders within the Seattle sustainability movement. Achieving a sustainable society cannot occur in isolation, yet too often, passionate, dedicated people lack the opportunity to share their thoughts, their fears and their dreams with a community of peers. The Leadership Lab provides this space, while Sustainable Seattle offers emerging leaders resources to execute their ideas for change...

As a part of the Lab you will have the chance to build partnerships across disciplines; learn tools for facilitating change; strengthen your capacity to work with multiple constituencies; delve into the systemic nature of sustainability work; recognize the inherent tensions in dynamic change; and practice conflict resolution in a safe space. Over food, drinks and good conversation, you'll be able to enhance your leadership skills, and take what you've learned back to your home, work and community lives. By being part of the Lab, you will also be shaping the future of Sustainable Seattle—right now, this is a pilot program, but based on your input we hope to turn the Lab into a monthly event for leaders across King County.

Please RSVP at the number below and join us in creating a truly sustainable Seattle!
