Elected in 2008 to head the Department of Natural Resources, Lands Commissioner Peter Goldmark will present his perspectives about balancing stakeholder needs, how public comments are incorporated into policy making decisions and how you can be most impactful in the rulemaking process. Also covered will be recent legislation impacts to Puget Sound and DNR’s new strategic plan. After the lecture there will be ample time for questions and answers and the opportunity from People For Puget Sound to take direct community action right at the event!
