Saturday, April 20 the downtown Seattle waterfront park will turn into a big, sweaty green gathering for Seattle Magazine's first ever Earth Day 5K. Sustainable Seattle will be there, in full force, with a passionate group of volunteers that we hope includes Y-O-U!
Times range from 7 am to 1pm and are located at the race start and finish line just near the park at Bell Harbor Pier 66. All volunteers will receive a shirt.
While there are tons of fun things going on during the event, including host Jesse Jones and a Earth Day festivity with food, drinks and vendors at Bell Harbor, we're excited to have two special roles during the Earth Day 5K!

If all things go as planned, we have an exciting partnership at the Earth Day 5K beer garden thanks to Seattle Magazine and New Belgium Brewing: all proceeds from the beer garden will go directly to Sustainable Seattle! Day drinking never sounded so good! We hope you can spread the word, grab a couple friends and toast to supporting Sustainable Seattle on what is basically mother nature's modern birthday.
While we think every day should be treated like like Earth Day, we're happy to choose an event like this to get together in one of Seattle's best urban green space to help raise proceeds that go to preserving such locations. We hope you join!
Sign up to volunteer here or email Michelle with questions at michelle@sustainableseattle.org. Or call 206.622.3522. If you don't have a shift preference send an email and include your Name, Email, if you're under 21 and Shirt Size.
